Sunny Oberoi Vivek Sadan : Sri Anandpur Sahib

Inaugurated By Giani Sultan Singh Ji

The Sunny Oberoi Vivek Sadan which was inaugurated on 11 august 2024 by the Jathedar of Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib, Giani Sultan Singh Ji.The Sadan was built by the Sarabat Da Bhala Charitable Trust. Giani Sultan Singh ji addressed the audience after inaugurating and said that the servant of the cult and known as the Messiah of humanity Dr. S. P. Singh Oberoi by this Vivek Sadan at Guru Nagar Sri Anandpur Sahib will provide free formal education to needy students.

Before this, the founder of the trust Dr. Surinderpal Singh Oberoi while welcoming all the dignitaries and said that earlier accommodation was arranged for the old poets in this house, but later we started courses for skill development so that our children can become professional leaders. He said that 12 events are organized in the House in 12 months. In which, according to the ancient tradition of the Sikh panth, publishing the works of Kavi Darbar and writers is prominently included. He said that the foundation stone of this house was laid in 2016 which has now been completed.

On this occasion, Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib Manager and the additional Manager appreciated the efferts done by Dr S.P.Singh Oberoi. Dr Raj Bhahadur said in his speech that a day will come when this sadan will become a hub of education.

Sarbat da Bhala Charitable Trust (Reg.) organized ‘Savana Kavi Darbar’ at Sunny Oberoi Vivek Sadan: Advance Institute of Social Sciences Sri Anandpur Sahib.. Which is chaired by the Managing Trustee of the Trust Dr S.P.Singh Oberoi. Dr.Karamjit Singh Vice Chancellor Jagat Guru Nanak Dev Punjab State Open University Patiala was the chief guest. Chief poet Minder shared his works with the audience.

The first session of Kavi Durbar was presided over by Darshan Buttar. Manmohan Singh as the chief guest, Daun and Bhupinder Kaur Preet joined as special guests. In this session, Nirvair Singh Arshi, Swami Antar Nirav, Devinder Bibipuria, Deepak Chanarthkal and Bhasho added color with their works.

The second session was chaired by Amarjit Konke. Sushil Dusanjh was the chief guest and Mohan Tyagi was the special guest. Vishal, Vijay Vivek, Jatind Parvaz, Anubala and Simranjot Mann created a great sensation with their works. The closing ceremony was presided over by Artinder Kaur Sandhu. During the last session, Balwinder Sandhu was the chief guest and Devinder Saifi was the special guest. Jatinder Kaur Anandpuri, Jaipal, Harvinder, Avtarjit Atwal and Jagdeep Sidhu impressed with their performances. Manmohan ji shared his thoughts about the event and thanked the guests. Later, various personalities were felicitated. On this occasion retired judge MMS Bedi, head of Vivek Sadan Dr. Bhupinder Kaur, Manmohan Singh, S. Jassa Singh Sandhu (National President), Surinder Singh (Patiala President), J.K. Jaggi (Ropar President), R.S. Atwal (Health Services), Tejinder Chopra, residents of the area and other dignitaries were present.

Sunny Oberoi Vivek Sadan: Organized Two Days National Conference at Advanced Institute of Social Sciences Sri Anandpur Sahib.

Sarbat Da Bhala Charitable Trust Sunny Oberoi Vivek Sadan Advance Institute of Social Science organized two-days National conference (1-2 march 2024) on ” An Idea of Inclusiveness: The Sacred space of Sri Anandpur Sahib ” The objectives of this conference are to try to document the heritage of Anandpur Sahib, to provide a spiritual and moral fram work of consciousness in a modern perspective, to create a unique paradigm of universality and modern environment, to preserve the literary collection and publishing etc.
This conference was inaugurated by S.P Singh Oberoi. This conference was chaired by Padam Shiri Surjit Patar, Mr. Madhav Kaushik was present as the chief guest while Dr. Sarbjinder Singh was present as a special guest. The keynote speech given by Dr. Amarjit Singh Grewal. The conference was blessed on various aspects of historical, literary, revolutionary and spiritual aspects of Sri Anandpur Sahib. Through the conference, guru sahib’s message of universality was mainly propagated for entire people. Sarbatda Bhala chatitable Managing Trustee Dr. S.P. Singh Oberoi gave all the credit for the success of this conference to Dr. Manmohan Singh.

ONE DAY WORKSHOP ON COMPUTER SKILLS

World famous social worker Dr. S. Sunny Oberoi Vivek Sadan: Advance Institute of Social Sciences, run by Sarbat Da Bhala Charitable Trust under the patronage of SP Singh Oberoi, organized a one day workshop on Computer Skills on 9-9-2023. On this occasion Dr. Surinder Kumar Head, Department of Computer Science, Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Khalsa College, Sri Anandpur Sahib, as the main speaker, started with the basic knowledge of computers and introduced the students about Artificial Intelligence, Chat GPT, Google, Biometric, Corel Designing, Photoshop, Typing etc. Provided valuable information and also shared information about computer related jobs with the students. On this occasion, the head of the organization Dr. Sondeep Monga ji said that such workshops help the intellectual development of the students as well as overall development of their personality. He said Dr. Thanking Surinder Kumar ji for providing information to the students while presenting books and certificates. On this occasion, the program coordinator Mandeep Kaur conducted the workshop well and all the staff members Mrs. Nisha Devi, Namandeep Singh, Mrs. Deepshikha, Sarabjit Kaur and the students enthusiastically participated in the workshop.

Book Release & certificate distribution ceremony at Sunny Oberoi Vivek Sadan: Advance Institute of Social Sciences Sri Anandpur Sahib.

Under the kind control of Sarbat Da Bhala Charitable Trust: The book ‘Rights of Women Constitutional, Legal and Actual Status’ was presented to the people at Sunny Oberoi Vivek Sadan Advance Institute of Social Sciences. SP Singh Oberoi is a world famous social worker and S. Manmohan Singh IPS, Joint Director Intelligence Bureau Government of India jointly released the book. As the Chief Guest S. Manmohan Singh explained the importance of knowledge society to the students. Manmohan Singh is the author of 24 books and a Sahitya Akademi awardee. Dr. SP Singh Oberoi also reiterated his commitment to contribute greatly to promoting academia in Sri Anandpur Sahib. Certificates awarded to 80 students who completed the training semester course which is ISO accredited. On this occasion, Sukhjinder Singh, president of Amritsar unit of the trust, Media Adviser of the Trust. Ravinder Singh Robin attended as a special guest. Puri Sahib from Nangal unit attended. On this occasion, the Head of the institute Dr. Sondeep Monga, while showing the importance of books, said that for a civilized society, the research of social issues is very necessary and books are the best medium for this. Sarbat Da Bhala Charitable Trust publishes them free of cost. He also congratulated the students who got the certificate and gave information about the skill development of the trust, saying that this training is given absolutely free. On this occasion, all the staff and students enthusiastically participated.

Dedicated to the Agaman Purab of Pancham Patshah Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji Sahib at Sri Anandpur Sahib Bhog of Sri Akhand Path Sahib Ji which was started with the support of Sikh Missionary College, Sri Anandpur Sahib on 13 April 2023 and Bhog On 15 April 2023, after the Bhog of Sri Akhand Path Sahib, Sikh Missionary College, Sri Anandpur Sahib, Kirtani Jatha of Bhai Sahib Bhai Tejveer Singh Ji (Former Hazuri Ragi Takhat Sri Kesgarh Sahib) and students of Sunny Oberoi Sangeet Kendra entertained the congregation.
