Education for needy-Sarbat Da Bhala Trust signed MoU with Punjabi University

Sarbat Da Bhala Charitable Trust (Reg.) Patiala signed an another MOU regarding scholarship with Punjabi University Patiala. MOU was signed by Vice Chancellor Dr. Arvind and Dr. S. P Singh Oberoi Managing Trustee Sarbat Da Bhala Charitable Trust. Vice Chacellor applauded the role of Trust for providing education to under privileged students and expressed his gratitude towards Dr. oberoi for his proactive role. Dr. Parmeet Kaur Head Gurmat Gyan Online Centre, Dr. Prabhleen Singh Administrative Officer, Inderjit Kaur Gill and Dr. Sondeep Monga were present on this occasion.

According to the norms of this MoU, the grant of scholarship to be provided by the Trust is a step in this direction where intelligent and hard working students are helped to pursue their higher education without any financial hardship . This effort is especially concentrated on promotion of Gurmat Sangeet in city of bliss Sri Anandpur Sahib as collective & Mutual effort of Pbi. Uni. Patiala and Sarbat Da Bhala Charitable Trust .Through this agreement, under the Admission Rules of Punjabi University Patiala a completely Online program developed by experienced faculty of the University, online admission , online audio – visual teaching material would be provided by the University. Expert Interaction Programmes will be conducted time to time at Sunny Oberoi Vivek Sadan : Advance Institute of Social Sciences Sri Anandpur Sahib to facilitate the Students in practical difficulties of Musicology. Evaluation by Board & External examiners will be arranged by Punjabi University Online Study Center.

Students covered under some categories like ‘Students registred under Sunny Oberoi Vivek Sadan : Advance Institute of Social Sciences and belonging to economically weaker section admitted through Gurmat Gyan Online Study Center Pbi Uni Patiala’, ‘Student who has lost his / her fatheror earning member of the family’, ‘Students whose mother is a divorcee’ , ‘who is not getting any supporting allowance from the husband’, ‘Students whose families are affected by natural disaster’, ‘Students who are differently abled’, ‘Students recommended by Managing Trustee of Sarbat Da Bhala Charitable Trust’ ,are eligible to apply for the these courses and can avail financial benefits.

Education for needy-Sarbat Da Bhala Trust signed MoU with Punjabi University .Maximum Number of Thirty Students ( Full Fee Scholarships ) will be awarded by the Trust. Fee will be payable by Trust collectively on behalf of students in Three installments.
